Mid-Infrared OPO for High Resolution Measurements of Trace Gases in the Mars Atmosphere

Abstract

We will present a laser based instrument operating in the mid-infrared to measure trace gases in the Martian atmosphere. The lidar instrument is based on a tunable OPO pumped by a master oscillator fiber amplifier.
