Ethane Spectroscopy for Breath Analysis Using a Mid-Infrared Interband Cascade Laser

Abstract

Online measurements of ethane in breath will enable non-invasive monitoring of oxidative stress status. We present a simple, compact system using off-axis ICOS for breath measurements of a smoker.
