Calibration Free Measurement of Atmospheric Methane Background via Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy at 1.6 µm

Abstract

At measurements of the atmospheric methane background with in an open path herriott cell, we achieved an optical resolution of 2.3 · 10−5 ODe (3σ), respectively 9 ppb CH4 (3σ) resolution of concentration.
