Abstract

Measurement of exhaled nitric oxide (eNO) was performed on beef cattle using a tunable diode laser absorption spectrometer (TDLAS). Collection of breath samples was performed using a custom breath collection apparatus. A mean eNO concentration for beef cattle upon delivery was found to be 331 ppt (n=319).
