Fiber-optic MIR laser sensors for explosive detection

Abstract

Mid-infrared laser radiation at 8.05 µm is generated by DFG in AgGaS2 for the detection of the explosive TATP. Fiber coupled absorption and evanescent field sensors are developed for sensive and selective remote detection.
