Infrared image transport through an all-solid tellurite optical glass rod with transversely-disordered refractive index profile

Abstract

For the first time, infrared images of numbers on a test target were transported after 10 cm of propagation in a tellurite glass rod with transversely-disordered refractive index profile using a 1550-nm CW probe beam.
