Abstract
IR absorption and Raman scattering are known as complementary vibrational spectroscopic techniques, which are widely used as a method for characterizing molecules in a label free manner [1]. The rule of mutual exclusion states no normal mode of molecules with the center of symmetry can be both IR- and Raman-active [1]. However, complete information of the normal modes acquired by IR and Raman spectroscopy can be essential for precise characterization of molecular compounds [2].
