Terahertz spectroscopic identification of biomarker in renal fibrosis

Abstract

L-hydroxyproline, an important biomarker in renal fibrosis, has been detected effectively in real rat kidney tissue by THz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS), which is especially meaningful for the diagnoses of renal fibrosis.
