Generation of intense few-cycle blue femtosecond laser pulses

Abstract

We report second harmonic generation with BBO crystal from intense few-cycle infrared femtosecond laser pulses, we managed to get broadband phase-matching with 14.2% conversion efficiency, and the result ultraviolet spectra supports 7.0 fs pulses.
