Intra- and inter-band transitions in high harmonic generation from solids

Abstract

A step-by-step model in k space was proposed to reveal the mechanisms of high harmonic generation in solids. Inter- and intraband dynamics correspond to local and global oscillations of wavepackets at phase and group velocities, respectively.
