Generation of gigawatt attosecond pulses

Abstract

Laser-driven double-nanofoil scheme can lead to high-quality relativistic electron sheets. Coherent Thomson scattering and direct radiation emission from these electron sheets can produce gigawatt attosecond pulses. We will discuss theories, PIC simulation and the latest progress of these attosecond sources.
