Guiding Optical Pulses in the Wake of Femtosecond Laser Filamentation

Abstract

Optical guiding of laser pulses in the wake of femtosecond laser filamentation is investigated experimentally. Guiding effect is shown to be the most effective when pump beam goes 8 picoseconds before the signal beam.
