A Storage Structure to Ensure High Throughput for Both Reads and Writes

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

A new storage structure called LSbM-tree (The Log-Structured Buffered Merge Tree) is proposed, which retains all the merits of LSM-tree, but effectively addresses LSM-tree induced caching problem. The effectiveness of high throughput for both reads and writes are presented in experiments.
