Wavefront Compensation for Holographic Data Storage

Abstract

Adaptive optics to compensate optically for hologram distortion has been studied. The image quality of reproduced data was improved, and an improved bit-error-rate was obtained. This method is effective when using photopolymer recording media, whose volume is changed by photo-polymerization.
