Fundamental Understanding of Near Field Transducers

Abstract

In this keynote presentation I will address fundamental principles underlying the operation of near field transducers. In particular emphasis will be placed on using vector field topology for improved understanding. Selected examples of near field transducers will be presented related to IT applications.
