Imaging of superluminal scattering sources: time reversal, pair creation and annihilation

Abstract

We investigate the kinematics of light sources using high-speed imaging techniques. We show that intriguing effects, such as temporal inversion, pair creation and annihilation, appear for sources moving at superluminal velocities.
