Abstract
Color centers in diamond, e.g. Nitrogen-Vacancy (N-V) or Silicon-Vacancy (Si-V) centers, are promising candidates for many application in quantum information science such as single photon sources and spin-qubits in a solid state quantum computer operating at room temperature. In this context, an essential building block is the coupling of a single color center to a cavity in order to spectrally and spatially enhance the emission, for efficient optical read-out of the internal state or for hybrid approaches using photons as flying qubits and color centers as stationary qubits.
