Low-noise high-power ultrafast Yb-fiber amplifier system with integrated pump delivery

Abstract

We report the first high-power, low-noise fiber amplifier seeded by an all-normal-dispersion Yb- fiber laser with completely fiber-integrated pump delivery. 16 W of average power is obtained at 43 MHz repetition rate with M2<1.1. After dechirping, pulse duration is 200 fs. Integrated laser intensity noise is <0.2%.
