Origin of the Spectral Minimum in the High Harmonics of N2

Abstract

High harmonics of N2 exhibit a spectral minimum consistent with either geometrical interference or HOMO-1 contributions. Angle- and intensity-dependent HHG measurements are compared to simulations. The purely geometrical model is ruled out.
