Abstract

Uncertainty of refractive-index measurements of optical-glasses are further reduced in a prism-pair interferometer by a quadrature-detection and a shared light-source. Uncertainty of 1.50 × 10−6 is confirmed by an interlaboratory comparison based on other methods.
