Abstract

Single quantum dot (QD) spectroscopy in the wavelength range longer than 1 μm has not yet been well explored except single photon sources at the telecommunication wavelength,1 although InAs self-assembled QDs having the longer resonant wavelength show interesting properties such as many higher-order excitons and large energy separation between exciton levels due to deep confinement energy levels.
