Abstract
Photonic entanglement has been observed in a myriad of configurations. A seminal position in this field is taken by the experiments on two photon polarization entanglement. Characteristically one observes a sinusoidal variation of the coincidence rate as a function of the relative rotation angle between the two polarizers [1]. This particular shape of the coincidence curve is a signature of the 2-D nature of polarization space.
