Abstract

For many applications such as in biophotonics, picosecond visible and IR super-continuum sources are of a great interest. We present here the investigation on polarized supercontinuum generation in picosecond regime and the nonlinear mechanisms involved, for a new highly birefringent photonic crystal fiber [1,2].
