Wavefront measurements of ultra-broadband laser pulses – wavelength dependence and implications

Abstract

The wavefront of an ultrabroadband (12.8-fs) pulse is shown to be wavelength dependent and varies at least within half a wavelength. Pressure dependent aberrations after a gas-filled capillary vary over one third of a wavelength.
