Suppression of deeoherenee and decay by modulation of system-bath coupling

Abstract

We develop a unified approach to dynamical suppression, by control fields, of decay and decoherence in qubits coupled to finite-temperature baths and dephasing sources. Considerations for optimizing such suppression are outlined.
