Abstract

A highly automated and remote controlled Ti:sapphire CPA laser system provides synchronized beams of 2×1.0-TW, 12-TW, and 100-TW peak-power, in a unique, radiation shielded facility specially designed to study laser wake-field acceleration in plasmas.
