Quadratic Soliton Self-Routing: Intensity dependent soliton reflection at an engineered PPLN dislocation

Abstract

The reflection of quadratic spatial solitons by a QPM engineered, dislocated, quadratically nonlinear interface was observed for the first time. The reflection occurred at small incidence angles and higher intensities while transmission resulted at low intensities.
