Abstract
Time-resolved second-harmonic generation, time-resolved photoluminescence, and mid-infrared transient absorption are all utilized as probes of sub-picosecond carrier relaxation and/or electron-injection in single semiconductor nanostructures and engineered devices based upon nanowire arrays.
