Spectroscopy of single CdSe nanorods

Abstract

The excitonic states of single nanorods are studied by spatially- and time-resolved photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. The spectral lineshape, energy position and decay time are determined. Polarized nanorod emission is used to control 3D-confined photon states.
