Abstract
The photodissociation dynamics of the CFBr radical, producing ground state CV (2π) and Br (2P), has been examined using state-to-state photochemical techniques. The precursor, HFBr2, was pyrolysed to obtain CFBr using a pyrolysis nozzle heated to approximately 1000 K. The resultant CFBr was then cooled in a supersonic expansion prior to dissociation.
