Abstract
The recent spectacular observations of Bose- Einstein condensation (BEC) in dilute atomic vapours [ 1 ] present the opportunity to further our understanding of BEC since they are weakly interacting Bose gases and are therefore amenable to more detailed theoretical analysis than strongly interacting Bose liquids, such as Helium.
