Abstract
Pulsed metal vapor lasers, such as well-known copper vapor laser, as well as metal halide lasers, usually operate at relatively high pulse repetition rate (RR) in the range 5-30 kHz. This is one of important advantages of these lasers because high RR is important for many applications. This is why the processes determining attainable repetition rate were subject of many investigations. Nevertheless they are still among the subjects actively discussed in many publications.
