Holographic optical elements for gravitational wave interferometers

Abstract

We are developing novel holographic optical components for use in long baseline gravitational wave laser interferometers (LGWIs). These new components will permit correction of optical aberrations, and provide new methods of coupling the beams in and out of the interferometer, and new methods of mode matching.
