Abstract
Recently, we have demonstrated emission of submillimeter waves from coherently excited exciton wave-packet oscillations in semiconductor superlattices (Bloch oscillations).1 With an improvement of the bandwidth of the detection system, we are now able to observe the emission up to 4 THz, opening the way to detect the emission from coherent Bloch oscillations for temperatures up to at least 100 K.
