Abstract

We present picosecond coherent Raman and photon echo studies of pure and mixed molecular solids under high pressure and low temperature. Picosecond photon echo measurements have been performed on a variety of mixed molecular solids at high pressure. Tins technique allows one to study the effect of pressure on the homogeneous dynamics of dilute impurities in crystalline and amorphous solids and in highly strained high pressure solids.
