Abstract

Time delayed four-wave mixing (TDFWM) using incoherent light was used to study the optical dephasing of CdSxSe1−x semiconductor microcrystallites in glass (sharp cut color glass filters) at room temperature. Amplified spontaneous emission from a Nd:YAG laser pumped dye cell was used to generate incoherent pulses at 6240 Å with 400-Å bandwidth, 5-ns duration, and 10-Hz repetition rate.
