Abstract

We have measured for the first time the two-photon absorption (TPA) spectra of multiple quantum-well structures (MQWSs) in static electric fields for photon energies near half the band gap, and found drastic field-induced changes in the spectra, which are peculiar to quai-two-dimensional exciton systems.
