Abstract
Harmonic generation from a laser interacting with an electron packet that propagates through an undulator could be a useful source of UHV compatible VUV and XUV coherent radiation. The first experiments were successfully performed on the storage ring AGO in Orsay where the third and fifth harmonics of a Q-switched doubled Nd:YAG were observed.1
