Abstract

The existence of solitary waves in degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) has been confirmed, and many interesting properties of these solitary waves are shown.1 We present a theoretical treatment of solitary waves in DFWM with the effects of phase mismatch and attenuations during the interaction.
