Abstract

There is considerable interest in the study of the dynamics of phase conjugate resonators, in partieular, a view of their potential applications in associative memories and optical learning machines. We analyze the dynamics of a high-diffraction phase conjugate resonator in which the phase conjugate mirror is a diffusive Kerr-type medium and operates in the Raman-Nath scattering regime.
