Abstract

In the kinetic simulation of the KrF laser medium,1 it has been assumed that the triatomic excimer Kr2F acts as the main absorbing species with the largest absorption coefficient. However, there has been no direct measurement on the absorption behavior of the Kr2F excimei at 248 nm, and the absorption cross section accepted up to now is an estimated one.
