Abstract

Dynamic thermal properties—thermal diffusivity Dth and thermal conductivity Λth—of critical binary fluids have been investigated theoretically and experimentally with optical techniques among others.1 Near a liquid–liquid consolute point, these properties are predicted to be regular,2 in agreement with experiment.1
