Optimization of a Silicon Micro-Ring Resonator for Photonic Reservoir Computing

Abstract

A silicon micro-ring resonator used for providing both nonlinearity and delay for photonic reservoir computing (RC) is optimized. We have evaluated how different design parameters affect RC equalization performances of optical transmission systems.
