Efficient Intersection of Silicon-Based Hybrid Plasmonic Waveguides

Abstract

Three types of intersections of silicon-based hybrid plasmonic waveguides are theoretically investigated. One intersection is efficient such that its throughput is larger than –1 dB and its crosstalk is smaller than –24 dB.
