Cavity Enhanced Nonlinear Optics with 2D Material

Abstract

We report cavity-enhanced nonlinear optical effects using 2D materials. We have theoretically demonstrated the ability to reach single photon nonlinear optics. Initial experimental results on secondharmonic generation with silicon photonic crystal cavity are also presented.
