Abstract

We report on an optically driven microwave emitter based on a high-power modified uni-traveling carrier photodiode and a Vivaldi antenna. A high unsaturated effective radiated power of-1.5 dBm at 100 GHz and a 6 dB-bandwidth of 14 GHz are demonstrated.
