Dispersion Engineering of Silicon/Plasmonics Hybrid Optical Interconnections

Abstract

We introduce a dispersion analysis of hybrid optical interconnections for silicon-based plasmonic-photonic nanowires. This Si/Plasmonics hybrid interconnection is able to confine and manipulate photonic signals with zero dispersion at communications wavelength.
