Precision Frequency Metrology with Parametric Micro-resonator Combs

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We describe 10+ GHz parametric frequency combs at 1550nm using high-Q silica micro-resonators. We realize a microcomb optical clock that divides terahertz frequencies to the microwave domain and demonstrate coherent octave-spanning spectra for self-referencing.
