Distributed Feedback Grating Filters for Tailoring Comb Laser Spectra

Abstract

We present distributed feedback grating filter designs that define discrete combs of transmission resonances. Practical structures with transmission channels matched to defined wavelength grids with 40 GHz spacing are demonstrated numerically.
