Abstract

This work presents low-loss bending waveguides based on long-range surface plasmon polaritons (LRSPP) excited by end-fire coupling. The waveguides were fabricated by embedding thin film stripes of gold in a low optical absorption perfluorocyclobutane (PFCB) polymer.
